SUMāTO · Secure workspace

GaleónVDI — your desktop, secure and anywhere.

Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI): managed, secure workspaces accessible from any device. Data lives in the data center—not on the device.

What it is
The desktop in the data center, not on the device.

GaleónVDI virtualizes the workspace: applications and data run and remain in the data center, and users access their full desktop from any device—with the same experience and under central control.

01

Security

Data is never stored on the endpoint; if a device is lost, the information is not.

02

Mobility

The same desktop from the office, home, or any device—no reconfiguration required.

03

Central control

Provisioning, patching, and policies from a single console across the entire organization.

04

Continuity

Resilient operations: in the event of an incident, the workspace is restored within minutes.

Capabilities

Workspaces governed end to end.

On-demand desktops

Create and decommission workspaces in minutes, based on your operation's real demand.

Cross-platform access

Windows, browser, or thin client—from PC, laptop, tablet, or mobile.

Data in the data center

Information never leaves the data center; the endpoint only projects the session.

Zero Trust security

Identity, MFA, and access policies by user, role, and device.

DR and continuity

Workspace backup and recovery with RPO/RTO defined per service.

Compliance and audit

Access traceability and controls ready for regulated environments.

Benefits

What changes with GaleónVDI.

Data security, continuity, and control—with lower cost and less IT friction.

Data is never at risk

Information runs and remains in the data center. If a device is lost or stolen, there is no leak: the endpoint only projects the session.

Genuine operational continuity

In the event of an incident, hardware failure, or external event, the workspace is restored within minutes from any device.

Lower IT cost and management

Lighter endpoints with longer service life, centralized patching and updates, and less on-site support.

Secure remote and hybrid work

The same desktop from home, the office, or on the road—without fragile VPNs or device-by-device configuration.

Central control and compliance

Policies, access, and audit from a single console—ideal for banking, healthcare, and government.

Scale on demand

Create or decommission workspaces in minutes to meet demand peaks, paying only for what you use.

By the numbers

More security and control, less friction.

Frequently asked questions

What people commonly ask about GaleónVDI.

What is VDI?+
VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) is the virtualization of the workspace: your applications and data run in the data center, and users access their full desktop from any device. The experience is the same as always, but control and security become central.
Where does the data reside?+
Always in the data center, never on the device. The endpoint only projects the session (the desktop image), so sensitive information is never stored locally or transferred to the user's device.
Which devices can access it?+
From PC, laptop, tablet, or mobile, using Windows, a browser, or a thin client. This standardizes access without depending on the type, brand, or power of the device.
What happens if a device is lost or stolen?+
There is no data leak, because the data is not on the device. Simply revoke the user's access and restore their desktop on another device within minutes, with no loss of work.
Do I need a VPN?+
It does not rely on traditional VPNs, which tend to be fragile and difficult to scale. Access is secured through identity, MFA, and Zero Trust policies applied by user, role, and device.
Is it suitable for remote or hybrid work?+
Yes—this is one of its greatest benefits: employees find the same secure desktop from home, the office, or on the road, without reconfiguring anything and without exposing the corporate network.
How does it help with compliance?+
It centralizes control: access policies, traceability of who enters and what they access, and audit from a single console. This is especially valuable in banking, healthcare, and government, where control and evidence are mandatory.
What happens in the event of an incident?+
The service is designed for continuity: with backup and recovery, the workspace is restored within minutes, and RPO/RTO objectives are defined per service to contain the impact of any event.
Does it reduce IT costs?+
Yes, on several fronts: lighter endpoints with longer service life, centralized management and patching, less on-site support, and the ability to scale workspaces with demand, paying only for what you use.
How do I get started?+
