Who operates this Site.
1.1 Identification of the data controller
The party responsible for the website sumatogroup.com (the "Site") and for the processing of the personal data collected through it is SUMāTO Group, with operations in Mexico and Colombia. For any matter relating to this notice, to personal data or to the terms of use, the channel is legal@sumatogroup.com.
1.2 Purpose of the Site
The purpose of the Site is to present SUMāTO's technology consulting and integration services and to facilitate contact with the firm. The information published is for information only and does not constitute a binding offer: the specific scope, timelines and conditions are defined in the proposals and contracts executed with each client.
1.3 Jurisdictions
This notice, the processing of data and the terms of use are governed by the regulations applicable in the jurisdictions where SUMāTO operates: Mexico and Colombia.
What data we process, and on what basis.
2.1 Information we collect
We may collect the information you voluntarily provide to us through forms or email (name, company, job title, email address, telephone number and the content of your inquiry), as well as technical browsing data (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited) by means of cookies and similar technologies.
2.2 Purpose of processing
- To respond to contact requests, assessments and commercial proposals.
- To provide and improve our services and the experience of the Site.
- To send communications related to our services, where consent has been given.
- To comply with legal and contractual obligations.
2.3 Legal basis
Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures, and the legitimate interest of SUMāTO, in accordance with the data protection regulations applicable in Mexico (LFPDPPP) and Colombia (Law 1581 of 2012 — Habeas Data).
2.4 Data retention
We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and the applicable legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
2.5 Rights of the data subject
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection, updating and deletion of your data, as well as revoke the consent given, by writing to legal@sumatogroup.com. We will respond to your request within the periods provided by applicable law.
2.6 Transfers and data processors
We may share data with technology providers that act as data processors (for example, CRM, hosting and analytics platforms), under agreements that safeguard its confidentiality and security.
2.7 Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.
Which cookies the Site uses.
3.1 Cookies in use
The Site uses first-party and third-party cookies for its operation, for protection against automated traffic and for audience measurement. These are the ones that are set:

3.2 Third-party services that may set cookies
Some pages load third-party services that may set their own identifiers: Google audience measurement, which runs under consent mode and receives no analytics data until you authorise it, and the conversational assistant shown on some pages, provided by a third party and subject to its own policy. The Site sets no advertising or third-party profiling cookies.
3.3 How to disable them
You can configure or disable cookies from your browser preferences, and withdraw analytics consent at any time. Technical cookies are necessary for the Site to work: if you block them, certain features may be affected.
Conditions of access and use.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Site, operated by SUMāTO Group ("SUMāTO", "we"). By accessing or using the Site, you accept these terms in their entirety.
4.1 Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site in accordance with the law, good faith and these terms. The following are prohibited: (i) using the Site for unlawful purposes or purposes that harm third parties; (ii) attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; (iii) introducing malicious software; (iv) reproducing, distributing or commercially exploiting the contents without authorization.
4.2 Intellectual property
The contents of the Site —text, graphics, design, logos and published materials— are the property of SUMāTO or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. "SUMāTO" and "SUMāTO Group" are the firm's trademarks. Third-party technologies, platforms and products referred to on the Site belong to their respective manufacturers and owners; SUMāTO integrates and operates them for its clients without claiming ownership of them. No licence over the contents of the Site is granted except by express written authorization.
4.3 Services and products
The descriptions of services, products, metrics and results published on the Site are for reference only. The specific scope, timelines and conditions are defined in the proposals and contracts executed with each client.
4.4 Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party sites. SUMāTO does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of such sites.
4.5 Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, SUMāTO shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Site, nor for the accuracy or availability of the information.
4.6 Modifications
SUMāTO may modify these terms and the contents of the Site at any time. Modifications take effect upon their publication on the Site, and the date of last update heads this page.
4.7 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdictions where SUMāTO operates (Mexico and Colombia). Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of SUMāTO's domicile.
Scope of this document. It is a general baseline applying to the Site. The contracts, proposals and data processing agreements executed with each client prevail over this page in whatever they expressly govern, and SUMāTO's legal department adjusts it to the regulations of each jurisdiction.
